A Guide to Ingleton Waterfalls

Ingleton waterfalls are a stunning set of falls that can be enjoyed by all the family. We'll share with you the best way to make a day of visiting these wonderful, unspoilt falls.

Where to park

The start of the trail begins at Broadwood car park where you can leave your car for free or alternatively pay in the village at Ingleton car community park.

Info on the trail

The 4 and a half mile circular trail takes around 2 to 3 hours to complete. As it is mostly on private land, there is a charge to pay for the upkeep of the footpaths; £8 for adults and £4 for 16s and under. It's open 7 days a week but opening times vary depending on the season. It's open until 7pm in the summer, 4pm in spring and autumn and 2.30pm in winter.

What you'll see

Along the route you'll get to see Pecca Falls, Hollybush Spout, Thornton Force, Beezley Falls, Snows Fall and Baxenghyll Gorge. As well as the stunning falls, you are treated to exceptional views across the commanding landscape. During the summer months, there is a ice cream van to treat yourself at the end of a great hike.
