Muncaster Castle is a privately owned castle near to the Cumbrian coastal village of Ravenglass. The castle is open to the public all year round including 77 acres of tranquil historic gardens and woodlands as well as a Hawk and Owl Centre. It also hosts several festivals and events as well as being a popular wedding venue. Muncaster Castle was the winner of Large Visitor Attraction of the Year at the 2025 Cumbria Tourism Awards.
