Our Lap Maps were launched over 30 years ago and have been best-sellers ever since.
We wanted an easy-to-use map with visitor information and things to see and do in a format that was fun, family-friendly and could be easily carried around.
So the first Visitors' Lap Map was born, and haven't looked back! We quickly added two more Yorkshire Dales maps for Walkers and Pub Grub, and then expanded the range into Lake District and Northumbria and beyond.
Our Lap Maps feature an excellent hand drawn map of the Yorkshire Dales National Park by artist Colin Shelbourn.
On the back of each Lap Map you'll find a lot of very useful information with different features; car tours on the Visitors' map, walks with great views and gentle gradients on the Walkers' map, and the best pubs for eating out on the Pub Grub map.

The Walkers' map includes nine easy walks for families with the best scenery the Dales has to offer including Aysgarth Falls, Cautley Spout, Bolton Abbey and Malham Cove.
The Pub Grub map features 60 family-friendly pubs in the Dales ideal for good food including dog friendly ones.

The Lap Map artwork is very popular and we've added a jigsaw, and tea towel to the range. We've also got coasters and tablemats with excerpts from the Lap Map.
