Our Lap Maps were launched over 30 years ago and have been best-sellers ever since.

Combining an easy-to-use map on the front and visitor information on the back, in a format that could be folded down to a handy pocket size.

So the first Visitors' Lap Map was born, and haven't looked back! We quickly added two more Yorkshire Dales maps for Walkers and Pub Grub, and then expanded the range into Lake District and Northumbria and beyond.

Our Lap Maps feature an excellent hand drawn map by artist Colin Shelbourn.

On the back of each Lap Map you'll find a lot of very useful information with different features; car tours on the Visitors' map, walks with great views and gentle gradients on the Walkers' map, and the best pubs for eating out on the Pub Grub map.

The Visitors' map features six car tours and over 40 attractions, ideal for great family days out.

The Walkers' map includes nine easy walks for families with the best scenery the Dales has to offer including Aysgarth Falls, Cautley Spout, Bolton Abbey and Malham Cove.

The Pub Grub map features 60 family-friendly pubs in the Dales, including dog friendly ones.
