Windermere from Todd Crag Greetings Card

This greeting card from the Landmark Photographic range features an image of Windermere looking south from Todd Crag (212m), to the west of Ambleside. Todd Crag lies beneath Loughrigg Fell and is not actually classed as a fell itself, merely a vantage point. Windermere is the largest lake in England at roughly 11 miles in length and 1 mile across at its widest, and probably the most famous. Windermere is also the only body of water in the Lake District to have a car ferry, between Bowness and Far Sawyer, allowing visitors easy access to Hawkshead and Grisedale Forest from the eastern side of Windermere.
