Lap Maps are designed to be easy to use with a colourful hand-drawn map of the Lake District by artist Colin Shelbourn on one side with the individual car tour maps and descriptions as well as other useful information on the other. It folds down to fit in a jacket pocket and really enhances your visit to the Lake District.

Our Lap Maps were launched over 30 years ago and have been best sellers ever since.

We wanted an easy-to-use map with visitor information and things to see and do in a format that was fun, family-friendly and could be easily carried around.

So the Lake District Visitors' Lap Map was born, and we haven't look back! We quickly added more Lakes maps for Walkers, Cyclists and Pub Grub and then expanded the range into Yorkshire, Northumbria and beyond.
