Our Lap Maps were launched over 30 years ago and have been best sellers ever since.
We wanted an easy-to-use map with visitor information and things to see and do in a format that was fun, family-friendly and could be easily carried around.
So the Lake District Visitors' Lap Map was born, and we haven't look back! We quickly added more Lakes maps for Walkers, Cyclists and Pub Grub and then expanded the range into Yorkshire, Northumbria and beyond.
The key feature of our Lap Maps is the brilliant hand drawn map of the Lake District National Park from artist Colin Shelbourne.
On the back of each map you'll find a lot of very useful information. Depending on which Lap Map you choose there are car tours, walks with great views and gentle gradients, cycle routes, attractions, places to visit, activities, advice and more.
It's a great way to plan days out in the Lake District, and also makes a great souvenir of your time in the Lakes!
